Maya Stefania Wibling
Maya Stefania Wibling is a Danish artist who lives and works in Aarhus, Denmark. She primarily works in painting. She works in both abstract and figurative motives. In recent years she has increasingly focused on figurative and narrative painting.
This show marks her second exhibition in the gallery. Wibling has created a completely new series of paintings in various formats, focusing on the woman and her role in restoring a world out of balance. An active messenger pointing out connections between all things.
In her work, Wibling often explores the masculine and feminine - not as counterparts, but rather as two complimentaries. Her works focus on the feminine principle, inherent in us all, and reflect a cyclic approach where restitution and afterthought is as important as expansion and action.
